Auction Life 101

“You know someone loves their job when you can see it on their face and you can feel it in your soul!”
– Auctioneer, Angela Rowland

As a child, I never thought that I would be an auctioneer. In fact, my dreams were far from it considering I wanted to be a dance teacher or pursue a career in the music business as a songwriter, you know those childhood dreams. But life happens and here I am, absolutely loving my auctioneer life, with every bid call.
I grew up here on the banks of Lake Hartwell, right in the heart of Hart County. I am the second born of four children, and I must say that I had the best childhood. My dad, a Vietnam veteran, retired locally from the National Guard and Tenneco Automotive and my mom a homemaker/retired from our local dry cleaners, taught us to have a good work ethic and always encouraged us in whatever we wanted to do. But I never really knew what my passion was other than helping others in whatever way I could.
After high school, I met my husband and it was him that talked me into becoming an auctioneer. Finally, after many years, and praying about it, I started to listen to him, and well, here I am building my own auction company from the ground up! Not only do I have my Auctioneer License, but I have also received my Motor Vehicle License as well, and I will continue to strive to add even more to help my business grow along with our community.
I give all the praise and glory to our Lord Jesus Christ for the opportunity to do a work that I am so passionate about!
